What CadastreExplorer does

CadastreExplorer is a web application that simplifies access to French cadastral data (provided by Etalab). It transforms gigabytes of complex geographic data into a smooth interactive experience directly in the browser. In seconds, you can access the cadastral information of a given address and generate a CERFA file (feature deleted for confidentiality purposes). I made this tool as a mission for Antargaz Energies during my apprenticeship.
The promise was simple: removing friction between the need for land information and the long process of researching it on the official website.
Why it exists
Navigating official government tools or extracting raw data from the cadastre can be slow. For a curious individual, an architect in the research phase, or a real estate agent in the field, access to this information must be instant.
CadastreExplorer bridges that gap. It offers a clean and high-performance view of the cadastral map, overlaid on modern road or satellite maps. The tool focuses on the essential: the geometry of the territory.
How it works
- Search for an address. Use the search bar to instantly look at the information of any address in metropolitan France and overseas territories.
- Extract the parcel. Display the full cadastral reference (INSEE Code, Section, Parcel Number) and its calculated gross area.
- Export the result. Click on download to generate a file with all the addresses found.
